White wines from the Loire region in France are usually fantastic. This Pouilly Fumé is pure enjoyment. It is also not easy to limit it to one glass.
The taste is largely due to the soil in which the Sauvignon grapes grow. The soil consists largely of calcareous clay and this provides freshness to white grape varieties.

Taste: a full, dry white wine with a delicious freshness, with the scent of blackcurrants. You taste green apple, berries and citrus. A very pure Pouilly Fumé.
